The\u00c2\u00a0Rachel Carson Center for Environment and Society and the European Society for Environmental History<\/a> will hold its second summer school for doctoral students from 20\u00e2\u20ac\u201c25 June 2011,\u00c2\u00a0 in Italy at the Centro Tedesco di Studi Veneziani <\/a>(Palazzo Barbarigo della Terrazza) in Venice. The topic of this summer school will be “Water\u00e2\u20ac\u201cCulture\u00e2\u20ac\u201cPolitics: Perspectives in Environmental History.” Mentors will include Donald Worster<\/a> (USA), Stefania Barca<\/a> (Portugal), and Dolly Jorgensen<\/a> (Sweden).<\/p>\n

Deadline for applications is 20<\/strong> February 2011.<\/strong><\/p>\n
